Saudi Arabia to host Gulf Summit on January 5
On Saturday, Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud requested the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Nayef Falah Al-Hajraf to invite the leaders of the member states. Among the first to receive the invite was United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, with the invitation received by the Dubai ruler and Vice-President Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum.
