"To avoid service interruption, Windows users should upgrade to Windows 10 (64 bit) or higher before August 2023," Google said in a support page. The company further said that users of a 32-bit version of Windows can still access Google Drive through a browser.

Also, Google Password Manager now has a dedicated home in Chrome on desktop which makes it easier for users to review their saved online credentials or change their password settings, the tech giant said in a blogpost on Thursday. Currently only available on mobile, biometric authentication is coming soon to desktop.

Bard now uses a new technique called "implicit code execution" to recognise computational prompts and run code in the background, the tech giant said in a blogpost on Wednesday. As a result, it can respond to string manipulation, coding questions and mathematical operations more correctly.

"We're aware of a very small number of Google Pixel Watch users having an issue with the glass on the back of the watch. We're working to identify its cause and rectify the situation as quickly as possible," the tech giant said in a statement to Android Police.

According to researchers from Mitiga Security, once a malicious user inside has accessed the organisation's Google Drive, they can take action without being recorded at all. This flaw affects only users who do not have a paid enterprise licence for Google Workspace.

According to Esper's Mishaal Rahman, Google added some new BatteryManager APIs to Android 14 beta, reports GSMArena. Two of them are public APIs which provide information about cycle count and charging status, while others are system APIs that report the device's manufacturing date, date of first use, charging policy and state of health.
