The accused have been identified as Deepak Khanna, Amit Khanna, Krishan, Mitthu and Manoj Mittal. Amit (25) works with SBI Cards in Uttam Nagar, Krishan (27) works at the Spanish Culture Centre, Mithun (26) is a hairdresser at Naraina, while Manoj Mittal (27) is a ration dealer in Sultanpuri, who is also a local BJP leader.

Earlier on Wednesday, a team from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) had gone to the Sultanpuri police station where it conducted mechanical inspection of the Maruti Baleno car under which the 20-year-old girl got stuck on the outskirts of Delhi. "So far, it has been found that she got stuck on the left front wheel of the vehicle. Our teams have also found blood stains around the wheel and other parts under the car," FSL sources said.

"It is not an accident but a planned murder," said the family members of Anjali, who was dragged for about 12 km from Sultanpuri to Kanjhawala under the car. Talking to media, Bhupendra Singh Chaurasia, a family member of the deceased, who had Anjali's autopsy report in hand said that the post-mortem report showed no signs of her having alcohol.

A Delhi Police officer on Tuesday spoke for just 1.33 minutes while giving details of the investigation into case. Addressing a press conference, Sagar Preet Hooda, Special Commissioner of Police (law and order), said that one more woman was with the victim at the time of the incident.

Sources also said that there were no injury marks on the private parts of the victim. The panel of three doctors on Monday conducted the post-mortem examination. The woman was killed in a horrific accident on Delhi's outskirts late Saturday, being dragged 10 to 12 km from Sultanpuri to Kanjhawala under the vehicle.

A family member said that the woman, Anjali, will be cremated this evening. When asked whether the family member was aware about another girl, Nidhi who was with Anjali at the time of accident, he said that Anjali had gone alone and he is not aware about that. The sources said that the initial autopsy report stated that the woman was not raped and her private parts did not have any injury marks.
