The statue, created by artist Yino Marques, features Shakira's iconic dance move from the music video of her hit 'Hips Don't Lie,' released in 2005. The singer shared a video capturing her parents and the Mayor of Barranquilla, Jaime Pumarejo, seeing the statue for the first time. Fans were also seen posing in front of the massive sculpture.
