Rankireddy-Ashwini enter top 20 of mixed doubles world rankings
Their previous best ranking was 23rd which they achieved on July 30, 2019. "Mixed doubles duo of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Ashwini Ponnappa enters top 20 in the latest BWF World Ranking (sic). Prannoy had been diagnosed with Covid-19 two months ago and said after the match that the pain in his rib cage was due to a muscle strain caused by coughing continuously. Tai was limited to a single digit score in the first game and while she fought hard in the second, Marin ended up winning the match 21-9, 21-16.
