During his brief visit to Telangana, he will meet the artists associated with the award winning song from S.S. Rajamouli's blockbuster RRR over high tea at Novotel Hotel near Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. Rajamouli, Music director M.M. Keeravani, lyricist Chandrabose, singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, choreographer Prem Rakshith, actors Junior NTR and Ram Charan are likely to be present during the meeting.

This would be his second visit to the state in less than a month. On April 14, he attended a public rally at Suri in Birbhum district where he said that if the people of West Bengal gifts BJP with 35 out of 42 Lok Sabha seats in the state in 2024 polls, there is a possibility of the Trinamool Congress-run state government to collapse even before 2025.A state-committee member of BJP in West Bengal said that the Union minister has himself expressed interest in attending the public rally in Murshidabad district next month.

This is his first visit to Karnataka after the announcement of candidates which has lead to the defection of senior Lingayat leaders from the party. Shah will arrive at the Bengaluru airport by noon. He will hold a road show in Devanahalli, in the outskirts of Bengaluru and will conduct a marathon meeting regarding the developments following the exit of former Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar and ex-Deputy CM Laxman Savadia.

According to party sources, of the many pieces of advice given by Shah, the main is that the party's state leadership should be more self-reliant by bridging the organisational gaps and shed excessive dependence on the BJP high-command. Party insiders said that the Home Minister has specifically asked the BJP to start the process of strengthening the booth-level committees and reactivating the defunct ones before the panchayat polls scheduled this year.

Sources from the BJP state committee said that they have requested the minister to visit the state often. To which, the minister had expressed his desire to come to the state again on May 9 and attend the function celebrating Tagore's birthday. "Although nothing has been finalised, there is a possibility that if the Union minister comes to the state again next month.

"If the people of West Bengal gift BJP 35 seats in 2024, then they will not have to wait even till 2026. Mamata Banerjee's government will collapse even before that," Shah said at a public rally at Suri in Birbhum district of West Bengal. However, during his 20-minute speech, the Home Minister did not utter a single word about the forthcoming polls for the three-tier panchayat system in West Bengal which is scheduled in 2023 only.

Nitish Kumar has all the ability of a Prime Minister and he is making honest efforts to unite the opposition parties of the country. "How could we go with the BJP which has only one ideology - to destroy smaller parties of the country? We have a small party in Bihar and it is not possible to go with them," Manjhi said.

However, the office of Jitan Ram Manjhi claimed that the purpose of the meeting is not political. He is going to Delhi to meet Amit Shah with a demand for Bharat Ratna for the Mountain Man Dasrath Manjhi, Bihar's first CM Sri Krishna Singh and Karpoori Thakur. Jitan Ram Manjhi, along with a delegation from Gaya went to Delhi to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The PMO had asked him to meet Amit Shah.

While addressing a rally of BJP workers in Assam' Dibrugarh, Shah also expressed confidence that the BJP will be victorious in at least 12 out of the 14 Lok Sabha seats in the state. According to him, the party is set to win big in the entire northeast, which accounts for a total of 25 seats in Lok Sabha.

With central share of Rs 4,800 crore including Rs 2500 crore exclusively for road connectivity for the four financial years (2022-23 to 2025-26), the VVP would be executed in 2967 villages in 19 districts adjoining international borders in Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh and UT of Ladakh.
