Yogi Aditynath has taken over as the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh for the second consecutive term. The election results of the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly delivered a historic win for Yogi Aditynath as he is the first CM to be voted again after general elections for the second term, after completing a full tenure of 5 years. He has become CM for two consecutive terms after 37 years as the last CM to win two consecutive terms was Narayan Dutt in 1985. The swearing-in ceremony of CM Yogi was held at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on March 25.
