Yamaha India has launched the new R15M racing motorcycle in the Indian auto market. With the launch of its new R15M, the company has expanded its R- series. R15M comes with the latest version, colour and design that takes the racing quotient to the next level. R15M has an aerodynamic body design that helps the rider to manage the airflow when he reaches the top speed. The engine of this motorcycle has a Traction Control System, Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) system and a Quick Shifter that has the ability of reducing the chances of a wheelspin. Here are the top 10 specifications of the Yamaha new racing motorcycle R15M.
1. Engine:- Yamaha R15M is powered by a 155 cc Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve petrol engine that generates a maximum power of 18.4 PS at 10000 rpm and a maximum torque of 14.2 Nm at 7500 rpm that paired with 6 speed manual transmission.
3. Exterior:- The motorcycle is featured with a single bi-functional LED headlight, unmissable front and back LED flashers.
4. Brakes:- For the safe drive on the road, this motorcycle has a Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and suspension fork with 37 mm inner tubes that gives the stability during brakes. The racing motorcycle comes with a 282mm front disc brake with Telescopic upside Down Fork (USD Fork) and 220mm rear disc brake with Linked-Type Monocross Suspension.
6. TFT display:- The new R15M also has a colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, digital speedometer, tachometer , fuel meter, dual horn, VVA indicator, fuel consumption indicator and comes with the two ride modes, track mode and street mode.
7. Y-CONNECT APP:- Through this app the biker is able to get the notifications related to Fuel Consumption Tracker, , Maintenance Recommendations and Malfunction Notification. Also with the Y- connect app, the phone notifications like call, SMS or E-mails, phones battery level will be shown on the cluster display.
9. Dimension: The new R15 M is 1,990 mm long, 725 mm wide, 1,135 mm high with 815 mm seat height and 1,325 mm wheelbase. It has 170 mm ground clearance, 141 kg kerb weight and 11 L fuel tank.
