Cricket is a game of support and love. The cricketers representing India or any other team haven't reached this stage alone. The support of their loved ones and family motivated them and because of them, they give their best on the ground. Sometimes, the wives of the Indian cricketers travel with them on foreign tours for love and support. Presently, India is on the tour of England to face them in one re-schedule fifth test of last year that was postponed due to covid situation, T-20 series, and ODI series. Here are the wives of cricketers who have reached England to support their husbands:
1. Ritika Sajdeh: Wife of Indian team captain Rohit Sharma is already in England with her husband. Rohit is recovering from Covid 19, however, he will be back in the white ball series and Ritika will be there in the crowd to support Rohit and the team.
2. Sanjana Ganesan: Television presenter and wife of Indian fast bowler and the current captain of the test team Jasprit Bumrah is there in England. She is there for two reasons, her profession as a Television presenter and to support Bumrah. Her presence makes Bumrah stronger.
3. Dhanashree Verma Chahal: A Choreographer and the wife of the Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is there on England tour. Dhanashree Verma traveled with her husband to Ireland for the T20 series and traveled with Yuzi where ever he go.
4. Natasa Stankovic: A model and the wife of Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya must be there on England tour. After a back injury, it will be the first time that Hardik Pandya will play with the main team. Because of Natasa's support, Hardik made his comeback, so Natasa is lucky for him and team India.
5. Anushka Sharma: Indian actor and the wife of the veteran Indian batsman Virat Kolhi will be there on the England tour supporting Virat Kohli and the team. Currently, she is shooting for the Jhulan Goswami biopic Chakda Xpress. However, she would be there with her daughter Vamika in during ODIs and T20s.
6. Devisha Shetty: Wife of Indian middle order batter Suryakumar Yadav and dance coach by profession Devisha Shetty is there on the England tour supporting Suryakumar Yadav and the team. Suryakumar will plays in the ODIs and T20s series.
7. Dipika Pallikal: Indian professional squash player and the wife of Dinesh Karthik must be there on the England tour. Dinesh Karthik will be there for the T20s and the support of Dipika makes his comeback stronger.
