Neeraj Chopra, India's shining javelin thrower and two-time Olympic medalist, has announced his wedding to Himani Mor on Sunday. Chopra revealed beautiful photos of the intimate ceremony where he has tied the knot. Writing on social media, Chopra said, "Grateful for every blessing that led us to this moment together. United by love, happily ever after," in a post accompanying a series of wedding pictures. Bhim, uncle of Chopra, had himself confirmed before PTI the reports of the marriage that was said to have taken place in India, though he maintained mum over the details. Bhim announced that honeymoon is already on for the couple. "The marriage took place two days ago in India. I cannot mention the place," Bhim said over the phone from his home in Khandra, near Panipat in Haryana. "The bride is from Sonipat and is still in the United States for studies. They have gone for their honeymoon, but we wanted to keep their honeymoon destination behind closed doors." Himani Mor is a national-level tennis player for Delhi University. She represented Delhi University in the 2017 World University Games held in Taipei. According to her school profile, she bagged a gold medal in the 2016 World Junior Tennis Championship held in Malaysia. According to the All India Tennis Association website, Mor's career best national rankings were 42nd in singles and 27th in doubles in 2018. She only started competing in AITA events in 2018 Amherst College in Massachusetts also lists her as an assistant coach for the women's tennis team, a role many students take alongside their academic pursuits.
