Bollywood actress Mouni Roy married Dubai based entrepreneur Suraj Nambiar in Goa on January 27, 2022. Keeping their relationship secret, the couple finally tied the knot as per Malayali traditions and Bengali traditions. Their wedding was attended by close family and friends, including Arjun Bijlani, Mandira Bedi, Meet Brothers and Aashka Goradia. Mouni and Suraj started dating each other back in 2019 and in a span of almost 3 years the couple got hitched. Suraj Nambiar was born to Jain parents in Bengaluru, Karnataka while Mouni is from Cooch Behar, West Bengal.
Mouni Roy turned into a Sabyasachi bride as she wore a white, red and gold saree cinched with a gold belt. Traditional South Indian wedding jewellery and flowers in her plaited hair completed the bride's look. Her Lehanga look for traditional Bengali wedding is also swoon worthy.
Just hours before the couple's wedding, Mouni introduced Suraj as "Everything" in an Instagram post. Suraj on the other hand considers himself the luckiest person for having Mouni as his life partner.
Pre-wedding festivities began with a mehendi ceremony. Actress Aashka Goradia and Mandira Bedi shared their photos with the bride.
Mouni's co-star of hit show Naagin, Arjun Bijlani also provided glimpses of the haldi. "Just so happy. God bless you," he wrote.
Sharing photos from the wedding, Mouni wrote, “I found him at last.. Hand in hand, blessed by family and friends, We're married! Need your love and blessing. Love, Suraj and Mouni."
Sharing the same slew of pictures as his wifey, Suraj wrote, “27.01.2022 - Married my best friend and the love of my life. Feel like the luckiest man alive.”
