1. Bajirao Mastani: Bajirao Mastani is one of the finest historical dramas ever churned in the industry. Originally, the movie was slated to hit the screen in the 2000s, with Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai instead of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. But due to their break-up, Salman and Aishwarya refused to work together. And after that, it took quite a long time for Sanjay Leela to find his Bajirao and Mastani.

2. Shivaay: Ajay Devgn faced a major setback when Shivaay got shelved after a long shoot in Canada. The makers were forced to pause the shoot as at that time the weather of the locating refused to cooperate with the shoot. But after a long hustle, the shoot got completed, and when Shivaay hit the screen is not just broke the box-office record but also earned 146 crores.

3. Krrish 3: The hype and buzz around the release of Krish 3 were incomparable, but the movie was shelved for quite a long time after Hrithik Roshan suffered a major disc injury. The movie was delayed by six months and when things were fine health-wise for Hrithik is when the shooting recommenced for this film.

4. Jagga Jasoos: Ranbir Kapoor's movie Jagga Jasoos also had several roadblocks which led to the delay in its release. The movie was called off over and over again. For the unversed, the movie took 4 years to be made as it had to face a lot of issues because of constant chaos and its script.

5. Sanju: When director Rajkumar Hirani came up with the idea of a biopic on the life of Sanju, he was well aware that hurdles from drug issues to mafia will came in his way and the same actually happened. But despite all the controversies, Sanju was able to recommence and become a hit at the box office.

6. Pyaasa: Bollywood classic movie, Pyaasa also had to be shelved. Starring Waheeda Rahman and Guru Dutt, the shooting of this film was delayed as the actor walked out of this big-budget film in a matter of seven days, which led to a revision in the script. He later agreed to do the film, which is when the movie set in motion again and became a roaring success.

7. Ghayal Once Again: Sunny Doel was all set to make his comeback on the silver screen with the sequel of his classic movie titles Ghayal but due to some reasons including script issue and financial road blocks. The movie was on the edge of getting dropped until Sunny Deol took the matter in his 2.5 kg hands.

8. Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam: The film was earlier called Hum Apke Hain Sanam and was stuck in the making for 6 long years till it finally released in 2002 and flopped. It had once been scrapped totally and was started over.
