The Forbes 2022 list of India's 100 richest is out. According to the list, infrastructure tycoon Gautam Adani has topped the list, followed by Mukesh Ambani and Radhakishan Damani at 2nd and 3rd spot respectively. As per the Forbes list, the combined wealth of India’s 100 richest grew by $25 billion to touch $800 billion. Despite the fact that the stock market was down marginally from a year ago with the biggest dampener being a weaker rupee, which fell by 10 percent over the same period, the wealth of the richest grew. This year there are 9 women on 'India's 100 richest' list. India's youngest billionaire, as per Forbes is 39 years old while the oldest is 91. This year, Nykaa's Falguni Nayar is the new entrant on the list. According to Forbes, the top 10 richest Indians are worth a cumulative $385 billion. Gautam Adani($150 billion): With a net worth of ₹1,211,460.11 crore, Gautam Adani, chairperson of Adani Group, tops the list of 100 richest Indians 2022. His wealth tripled since 2021 and has become India's richest person for the first time in 2022.

Mukesh Ambani($88 billion): Mukesh Ambani, Chairman & MD of Reliance Industries Ltd. bagged the second spot with a net worth of ₹710,723.26 crore. Since 2013, its the first time that his rank dropped to no.2.

Radhakishan Damani($27.6 billion): With a fortune of ₹222,908.66 crore, Radhakishan, owner of the DMart chain of supermarkets stands in the top 3 in India's 100 richest list for 2022. He entered retailing in 2002 with one store and now there are 271 DMart stores in India.

Cyrus Poonawalla($21.5 billion): Cyrus Poonawalla, the Chairman of the world's largest vaccine manufacturing company Serum Institute of India, is the 4th richest Indian with a net worth of ₹173,642.62 crore. His company has multiple partnerships to make Covid-19 vaccines.

Shiv Nadar($21.4 billion): Shiv Nadar, chairman of HCL Technologies has a net worth of ₹172,834.97 crore. He is one of the pioneers of the Indian IT sector, who donated $662 million to education-related causes this year and thus saw the biggest drop in net worth.

Savitri Jindal($16.4 billion): The richest Indian woman, Savitri Jindal is the Chairperson Emeritus of O.P. Jindal Group as well as an active politician. She has a net worth of ₹132,452.97 crore.

Dilip Shanghvi($15.5 billion): Dilip Shanghvi is the seventh richest Indian who is also a founder of Sun Pharmaceuticals. He has a net worth of 125,184.21 crore. Dilip is also the central board member of the Reserve Bank of India.

Hinduja Brothers($15.2 billion): Four siblings - Srichand, Gopichand, Prakash, and Ashok Hinduja who control the Hinduja Group started by Parmanand Deepchand Hinduja in 1914 bagged the 8th spot on the list. Their wealth stands at ₹122,761.29 crore.

Kumar Birla($15 billion): Kumar Birla is the chairman of the textiles-to-cement conglomerate Aditya Birla Group. He has a net worth of ₹121,146.01 crore.

Bajaj Family($14.6 billion): The Bajaj Family owns a network of 40 companies under the Bajaj Group. The family has a net worth of ₹117,915.45 crore and is ranked the 10th richest on the list of 'India's 100 richest 2022.'
