We, humans, have one extremely annoying habit of declaring results long before an event takes place. This habit of predicting the future has ruined a lot of things that could have been a masterpiece. The list of events or things that become the predator or early prediction also includes a long list of tv shows and movies. Over the years, hundreds of great shows have been canceled, for many different reasons. But only a handful shows out of them managed to rise from the dead. Today, we bring you a list of the top 10 popular shows that got canceled before beginning or mid-season but later went on to garner the tag of superhit:

1. Squid Game: Even if you haven’t binged watched the show, the clips from the show would have flooded your timeline. The Netflix original that is taking over the internet was written long back in 2008 but got rejected by the producers more than a hundred times and ultimately got selected by Netflix and got the tag of a masterpiece.

2. Friends: It is hard to believe that the show which has fandom like nothing else, once tons of awards and had 10 year-long screen history was once deemed unfit to get aired. After the filming of the initial few episodes, the makers realized this is not what they expected and tried to shut it down but NBC held it tight and made it a star.

3. Games of Thrones: The show which gave impeccable seasons and storyline was originally hated but the producers. But to turn the table, the makers had to get a new director on board, replace old characters with new faces (Emilia Clarke is one of the replacements), in the hope that it is picked up and the result is in front of us.

4. Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Even after having a worldwide celebration, the comedic police procedural was canceled in the middle. The comedy series originally ran on Fox from September 2013 until May 2018 when Fox announced its cancelation. The cancelation hurt the B99 fans so badly that they started a movement and forced the cast and makers to get back on board.

5. Bay watch: This is one show every 90s kid has secretly grown up watching. Pamela Anderson became everyone’s first love and suddenly, becoming a lifeguard seemed like a hot choice for a career. However, not all was well when the first season had very low ratings and the makers almost decided to cancel it. Thank god they didn’t though.

6. The Office: Can you imagine how boring life would be without the iconic dialogue ‘that’s what she said. Thanks to all those makers, who held the show hard after the show was on the urge of getting canceled after the disastrous first season.

7. Family Guy: Seth MacFarlane's iconic animated family sitcom, Family Guy, is now one of the longest-running primetime shows of all time but the show got canceled after receiving a low rating for its third season. Fox killed their hopes with the Family guy but soon they changed their mind after they saw a sudden increase in their sales through reruns, and DVD sales skyrocketed of the show.

8. Money Heist: This is one of the biggest Netflix shows in the world and with the crazy fan following this show has built-in 5 seasons, it is difficult to think it was canceled. The Spanish series was apparently canceled after the first season before Netflix decided to infuse new life into it, and since then, there is no looking back.

9. Sense8: The sci-fi drama series Sense8 quickly found a cult following when it dropped on Netflix in June of 2015. The series centers on eight strangers who find themselves connected to each other for an unknown reason. In the end, Netflix granted the series a two-and-a-half-hour finale, which allowed the creators to tie up all the loose ends.

10. Futurama: The series originally aired on Fox from 1999 until 2003 when Fox canceled the series. The series then began airing reruns, where it picked up a considerable following, allowing the creators to create four direct-to-video films. From there, the series was acquired by Comedy Central, who ended up reviving the series for two more seasons.
