Being one of the most well-established film fraternities, Bollywood always had an upper hand in the production of movies. From action to thriller, the industry has churned some of the most epic movies that went well on every cinematic aspect. 1. Mr. India: One of the initial sci-fi movies produced in Bollywood, Mr. India is a cult classic in its very own rights. The story of an orphan owner, who turns into a superhero after discovering an invention of a scientist.

2. Koi Mil Gya: This was the movie that showed us an alien for the very first time as earlier this we were all stuck with ghost and paranormal activities. Directed by Rakesh Roshan, the plot revolves around a mentally challenged young man, Rohit, who accidentally contacts aliens while using his late father's technology and later makes him a part of his family.

3. Ra One: We always wished for a movie like Marvel's and Anubhav Sinha gave us something just like that. The story of a game developer, whose work unleashes the characters from a game and his son destroys them, is one of the most advanced movies ever made in Bollywood.

4. Robot 2.0: Robot 2.0 is currently the movie with the biggest budget, which ticked every aspect to become a sci-fi cult classic. From VFX to costumes, the makers pay a huge amount to make it a movie true marvel.

5. Mr. X in Bombay: This comedy thriller might not be high on science but was high on entertainment, alright. It featured a flying car, among other things. Don’t ask us what invisibility has to do with levitation. When he’s spurned by his girlfriend, a dejected Kishore Kumar drinks what he thinks is poison but in actuality, it’s a potion that makes him invisible.

6. Krrish: After Shaktimaan, Krrish was the only superhero Bollywood ever witnessed. The movie was the sequel of Koi Mil Gaya. The movie continues the story of Rohit in the face of Krishna, who receives the powers from his father Rohit that Jaadu gave him. He trains himself and saves his father from the hand of the villain.

7. Action Replay: The film’s premise is based on the American hit Back To The Future (1985). Bunty (Aditya Roy Kapoor), does not want to get married because of the loveless relationship between his parents Kishen (Akshay Kumar) and Mala (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan).

8. PK: Another cult classic produced by Aamir Khan. The perfectionist shed light on many untouched aspects of society. The story of the movie talks about an alien who comes to earth and losses his remote. Then he meets a girl and falls in love, During this journey, he gets to know that some fake spiritual guru has his remote. PK not just takes his remote back also proves to everybody that the guru is fake.

9. Creature 3D: Directed by Vikram Bhatt, this 3D flick was touted as India’s first creature film. The film features Bipasha Basu and Imran Abbas in the lead role. It received mostly mixed reviews from critics.

10. Love Story: Directed by Harry Baweja, this 2008 sci-fi romance film featuring Priyanka Chopra and debutant Harman Baweja in the lead role. One of the first Bollywood films to explore the Utopian time-traveling concept, it met with mixed reviews from critics and underperformed at the box office.
