In the car market, there are plenty of cars that have been launched in the first month of January 2023 that grabbed the attention of the buyers. In the market, most of the top car brands have registered a positive growth in the sales and many of them gave tough competitions to their contemporaries to rank at the top in the car market. 10. Renault:- With the sale of 3,008 units in January 2023, Renault has grabbed the 10th place. In the previous year, January 2022 it had recorded sale of 8,119 units. Renault declined YoY volume of 63 percent in its sales figure as compared to January 2023.

9. Škoda Auto:- The luxurious car manufacturing company Skoda has registered a total of 3,818 units in January 2023 against the sale of 3,009 units in January 2022. It has recorded a YoY growth of 29.9 percent.

8. MG Motor :- MG Motor has recorded a 4,114 units of sales in January 2023 against 4,306 units sales in the same period.

7. Honda Motor Company :- One of the well-known auto manufacturing companies Honda has grabbed the 7th position in the best selling car brands in january 2023 with the decline in sales of 7,821 units as compared to sales 10, 427 units in January 2022.

6. Toyota:- Japanese car making company Toyota spotted at the sixth place with an increased sales of 12,728 units. It has recorded 73% YoY growth.

5. Kia:- Korean auto company Kia is the fifth best- selling car company in India. In January 2022 it sold 19,319 units but in the first month of 2023, Kia recorded 28,634 units sold with a growth of 48 percent. Through Seltos and Sonet models, the company has successfully grabbed the fifth place in best selling car brand in January 2023.

4. Mahindra :- Mahindra registered a total sales of 33,040 units against 19,860 units in January 2022. It gained a YoY growth of 66.4 percent with its top models such as second-gen Thar, XUV700 and Scorpio N.

3.Tata Motors :- With the popular SUVs: Nexon and the Punch, Tata Motors in January 2023 has registered a sales of 47,990 units with YoY growth of 17 percent, compared to 40,780 units sold in January 2022.

2. Hyundai:- The second-largest carmaker in India is Hyundai in January 2023, The South Korean company has sold 50,106 units. It grabbed second place with a 13.8 percent YoY growth.

1. Maruti Suzuki:- Maruti Suzuki has successfully remained at the top position of top car selling brand. It recorded the 1, 47,348 sales in January 2023 with a 14.3 percent YoY growth as compared to 1, 28,924 sold units for the same period 2022.
