Usually, the success of a movie is measured by the business they do at the box office. But by selling their rights to the digital platforms, the filmmakers lose the fear of getting a flop and expectations of having a blockbuster. 1. Dil Bechara (Rs. 40 crores): The right of the last movie of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was bought by Disney + Hotstar for whooping Rs. 40 crores. The swan song of the actor is the Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood movie titled Fault In Our Stars which is based on a novel with the same title.

2. Laxmmi Bomb (Rs. 125 crores): The Hindi adaptation of South Indian blockbuster Kanchana, Laxxmi Bomb casts Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani in lead. The movie helmed by Raghava Lawrence, the rights of the movie were sold to Disney+ Hotstar for a deal worth Rs. 125 crore.

3. The Big Bull (Rs. 40 crores): Inspired by the real-life scam story of Stock Market tycoon Harshal Mehta, The Big Bull marked the comeback of Abhishek Bachchan. The producers, Ajay and Kumar Mangat sold the rights to Disney+ Hotstar for Rs. 40 Crore.

4. Bhuj: The Pride of India (Rs. 110 crores): Starring, Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, and Sonakshi Sinha in lead, Bhuj: The Pride of India is the tale of brave Indian Soliders and some civilians of Bhuj that helped the nation to take down the Pakistani soldiers. Apparently, the film has been sold to Disney+ Hotstar for Rs. 110 crores.

5. Gulabo Sitabo (Rs. 65 crores): The tale of two men fighting over the matter of a Haweli is just a delight to watch. Starring Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khuranna in lead, the movie was sold to Amazon Prime for Rs 65 crore.

6. Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl (Rs 50 crore): Based on the real-life story of the First Indian female fighter plane operator, Gunjan Saxena, is a film directed by Sharan Sharma and produced by Dharma Productions and Zee Studios. The film was sold to Netflix for a deal worth Rs. 50 crore.

7. Shakuntala Devi (Rs. 40 crores): The movie is a biopic directed by Anu Menon and produced by Sony Pictures Networks India based on the life of a genius female mathematician, Shakuntala Devi. Starring Vidya Balan, Sanya Malhotra, and Amit Sadh, the deal was closed with Amazon Prime for Rs. 40 crores.

8. Sadak 2 (Rs. 70 crores): Sadak 2 is Mahesh Bhatt's directorial comeback after 21 long years, starring Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur. The film is the sequel to the 1991 film, Sadak. The film rights have been sold to Disney+ Hotstar for a deal worth Rs. 70 crore.

9. Lootcase (Rs. 10 crores): Kunal Kemmu starrer Lootcase, is a film where the protagonist comes across a suitcase full of cash, the film discovers what the protagonist does with the money. Directed by Rajesh Krishnan, the film was sold to Disney+ Hotstar for a deal worth Rs. 10 crores.

10. Khuda Hafiz (Rs. 10 crores); Khuda Haafiz is a romantic action thriller film directed by Faruk Kabir and produced by duo Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak. Inspired by real incidents, the film features Vidyut Jammwal and Shivaleeka Oberoi in the lead roles. The film was sold to Disney+ Hotstar for Rs 10 crore.
