1. Hrithik Roshan (Akash in Dil Chahta hai): Dil Chahta is that one movie that started a new genre in the industry. Every character of the movie gave an iconic performance but Akash was our favourite. But Aamir Khan was not the first choice for it originally Hrithik Roshan was chosen for this role but he turned it down.
2. Saif Ali Khan (Raj - Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge): The story line was the heart of DDLJ but SRK was the soul of it. We can’t imagine anybody else as Raj in DDLJ. But SRK was not the first choice of the makers, makers chose Saif Ali Khan first but he turned it down. So thankful to Saif Ali Khan.
3. Kareena Kapoor Khan (Leela - Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela): This move not just would have turned the movie upside down but also have not started the love story of Deepveer. As per the reports, Sanjay Leela Bhansali approached Kareena Kapoor before Deepika Kapoor. But because of her personal reason, she turned it down.
4. Aamir Khan (Sanjay Dutt -Sanju): Undoubtedly this would have been the most disastrous casting of all time. The Jodi of Aamir and Raju Hirani has been iconic but we can’t see him playing the role of Sanjay Dutt in his biopic.
5. Ranbir Kapoor (Gully Boy – Gully Boy): Ranbir Kapoor was reportedly offered a role in Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy. According to media reports, while Ranveer Singh was confirmed to be playing the lead role, RK didn’t want to play the second fiddle to the ‘Ram Leela’ actor and thus turned down the offer.
6. Armaan Kohli- Deewana: In the past, SRK thanked Armaan Kohli for making him a star and this was the reason. When Armaan was at the peak of his career, Bollywood filmmakers gave him Deewana but he turned down and the movie went to SRK. With his acting performance, SRK rocked the box office and became a star.
7. Ranbir Kapoor – (Dil Dhadkne Do): Another Zoya Akhtar movie that RK let go of was ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’. He was set to play Ranveer’s role, and Kareena Kapoor Khan was set to play Priyanka’s. However, rumors have it that Ranbir wanted to play another character in the film.
8. SRK (Munna - Munna Bhai M.B.B.S): Can you imagine SRK playing a bold gangster and using Gansta slang? NO! Before Sanjay Dutt accept the movie he turned down it once and that made Rajkumar Hirani get to SRK but looking at the role he turned it down. And before Raju find someone else Sanjay approached him to play the role.
9. Tabu And Irrfan Khan - Badhai Ho: Both Tabu and Irrfan Khan are known for their realistic and method acting. Hence, both were offered the role of Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao, the elderly couple who find out they would be turning parents for the third time in the 2018 blockbuster comedy film Badhaai Ho.
10. Kareena Kapoor (Rani – Queen): Kangana Ranaut got a lot of recognition and appreciation for her role Rani in the movie 'Queen'. The actress won a National Award after Queen ruled the box office. To everyone's utter shock the role was initially offered to Kareena Kapoor since she did a bang on performance as Geet in Jab We Met, makers thought she would do justice to Rani's role too.
