One of the tried and tested tricks for advertising your products and services, brands to pay whopping paycheques to celebrities to advertise their products. And these deals over cross the 20 crore mark. But there is a saying that money is not the only thing, ethics are what really matters. Implementing that, there have been a number of Bollywood celebs who rejected multi-crore advertisement deals as it was not going appropriate with their ethics. 1. Anushka Sharma: Anushka Sharma has been particular about the brands she wants to promote or not. Back in time, the actress once turned down fairness cream ads as she thought that instead of promoting their brand, they are promoting racism or colorism in society.

2. Amitabh Bachchan: Amitabh Bachchan, the megastar of the industry, stopped promoting Pepsi after a little girl came up to him and asked why he is promoting a soft drink that was branded a poison by her teacher. He said that it made him feel “this impression is on the mind of the people”.

3. Ranbir Kapoor: Going with the idea of her co-star Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor turned down a deal worth Rs 9 crore to endorse a fairness cream. As the actor strongly believes that such advertisement promotes racism in society.

4. Sunny Leone: Sunny Leone has been a brand ambassador of a number of brands but she said straight to the pan masala brand when they approached her to endorse their product. She also made sure never to promote such products in the future.

5. Yash: After the success of KGF 2, a number of brands approached Yash to promote their product and one of those brands was a pan masala. But the Yash declined it in first sight even though the brand was offering him 20 crore rupees. The actor said that he will never promote a product that takes lives.

6. Sushant Singh Rajput: SSR was one of the most down-to-earth actors ever nurtured in the Bollywood industry. His deep-rooted principles made him turn down an advertisement deal worth a whopping ₹15 crores for endorsing fairness creams.

7. John Abraham: The actor is apparently very particular about the products he is associated with. As per sources, a famous tobacco brand approached the actor for an endorsement and even offered a large amount. However, he turned down the offer.

8. Abhishek Bachchan: During her peek days, Abhishek Bachchan once turned down a deal worth 10 crores for endorsing an alcohol brand as he didn't want to give out any wrong message to youngsters.

9. Sawara Bhaskar: Sawara Bhaskar was once offered a deal to feature in a fairness cream ad in 2015. She rejected the offer, saying that the very idea of fairness creams is regressive and plants the seed of racism.

10. Emraan Hashmi: Emraan Hashmi did not think twice before turning down a Rs 4 crore offer to promote a liquor brand in 2013. "Emraan declined the offer as he knows he is a role model to a lot of youngsters and he didn't want them to follow the wrong path," a report stated.
