1. 83: Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone starrer managed to see its theatrical release. But even after having such a star-studded cast and mind-blowing plotline, the movie fails to create the expected buzz on the box office. Because of the covid restrictions, the audience decided to enjoy the movie at home.

2. Laal Singh Chaddha: Aamir Khan’s comeback after a 2-year long sabbatical, Laal Singh Chaddha, is one of the most awaited movies of the year but it seems like the audience has to wait a little more. Because of the third wave of coronavirus, the makers decided to postpone the movie one more time.

3. Brahmastra: Part one of three movie stories, Brahmastra, has already undergone various postpones, and even now there are chances that the movie will be postponed one more time. Directed by Ayaan Mukherjee, a movie based on Hindu mythology, Brahmastra captures Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Amitabh Bachchan in lead.

4. RRR: One of the most anticipated movies of 2022, RRR was destined to see its release on January 07 but due to the covid surge, the makers decided to postpone the movie a few days before the release. The multi-lingual movie captures Alia Bhatt, Jr. Natar, Ram Charan, and Ajay Devgan in pivotal roles.

5. Prithaviraj: Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar’s Prithviraj is another movie which got affected by the rise in covid 19 cases. While giving the reason behind the postponement of the movie, the makers said that Prithviraj is one aid that will be useful to bring people back to the theatre. Not just at the time of release, the movie faced a number of problems during the production stage due to covid.

6. Jersey: Most movies faced the issue of release date postpones, but Jersey faced not just postpone issue but also difficulties while the production due to covid 19. Shahid Kapoor-Mrunal Thakur’s ‘Jersey’ was all set to release on December 31. However, just a couple of days before the film’s release, the makers took a decision to postpone the sports drama.

7. Radhe Shyam: Fans have been waiting with bated breath for Prabhas and Pooja Hegde’s love saga. But ‘Radhe Shyam’ won’t keep its date with the audience on January 14. Announcing the postponement, an official statement read, “We have been trying our best for the past few days but considering the growing cases of Omicron variant it looks like we will have to wait for our labor of love to get to the big screens.

8. Darlings: Alia Bhatt announced her production house Eternal Sunshine Productions in March 2021 and launched the first film under her banner. Darlings were being shot in Mumbai until now with Shefali Shah, Alia, Vijay Verma, and Roshan Mathew. Filming wrapped up recently and the film will go into post-production soon.
