TIME magazine on Monday published its most awaited list of the World's 100 most influential people of 2022. The list has been divided into six categories- Icons, Pioneers, Titans, Artists, Leaders and Innovators. Instead of choosing one person for Magazine's cover, TIME has created five different covers, featuring Zendaya, Tim Cook, Mary J. Blige, Simu Liu and Mia Mottley. However, this year only 3 Indians could make it to the list which includes, Supreme Court lawyer Karuna Nundy, Billionaire Gautam Adani and Kashmiri human rights activist Khurram Parvez. Gautam Adani has been listed in Titans category while Karuna Nundy and Khurram Parvez have been listed under the Leaders category. The Titans category includes the following:

Tim Cook (US) Timothy Donald Cook, Chief Executive Officer of Apple Inc. has been named first under the Titans category of TIME magazine. Tim is also featured on one of the five covers of TIMES magazine. His entry was written by Steve Jobs‘ widow, Laurene Powell Jobs.

Oprah Winfrey (US) Oprah Gail Winfrey, an American talk show host and TV producer registered her name at 2nd place in the TIME's most influential people of 2022 under the Titans category. She is the host of her own show 'The Oprah Winfrey Show' which is quite popular. Her entry was written by Michelle Obama.

Christine Lagarde (France) A French politician, economist and lawyer Christine Madeleine Odette Lagarde has been President of the European Central Bank since 2019. The lady has also previously served as Chair and MD of the International Monetary Fund. Her entry was written by Ayesha Javed for TIME Magazine.

Michelle Yeoh (Malaysia) Michelle Yeoh Choo Kheng is a Malaysian actress who is best known for her roles in the James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies Crouching Tiger and Hidden Dragon. The actress is also listed under the Titans category for TIME's most influential people 2022. Her entry was written by Kevin Kwan.

Gautam Adani (India) Indian Business tycoon Gautam Adani is the only Indian to have placed in Titans Category of TIME Magazine. As per TIME, Adani is a national behemoth in the World's sixth largest economy. "Adani… competes with Warren Buffett to be the world’s fifth-richest person. With Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s stated goal of making India a $5 trillion economy by 2025, Adani’s journey may have only just begun,” Written in the Magazine. Kris Jenner (US) Kristen Mary Jenner is an American socialite, businesswoman and media personality who rose to fame with a Television reality show 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians.' Jenner has been named as one of the most influential people for 2022. Her entry was written by Ryan Seacrest.

Andy Jassy (US) President and CEO of Amazon, Andrew R. Jassy has also been named as the most influential people for TIMES 2022. Replacing Jeff Bezos as president and CEO of Amazon he gained the position on July 5 2021. His entry was written by Steve Ballmer.

Sally Rooney (Ireland) An Irish author and screenwriter Sally Rooney is credited for publishing three novels: Conversations with Friends, Normal People, and Beautiful World, Where Are You. Her entry was written by Lena Dunham.
