Tata Motors has launched the Tigor EV in the Indian car market . The starting price of Tigor EV is Rs 12.99 lakh. Tigor EVs has four variants- XE( ex-showroom Rs 12.99 lakh) , XT (ex-showroom Rs 13.46 lakh) , XZ+( ex-showroom Rs 13.75 lakh) and XZ+ Lux (ex-showroom Rs 13.75 lakh).After the launch of Nexon EV prime, Tata Motors have upgraded various features in Tigor EV including software updates, seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with four speakers, multi-mode regenerative braking, iTPMS and tyre puncture repair kit. 1. Price:- The basic model of Tata Tigor EV is Tigor EV XE that comes at the price of Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and the top model is Tata Tigor XZ+ Lux, at the price of Rs. 13.75 lakh (ex-showroom).
2. Engine:- Tigor EV's have 72 V 3-Phase AC electric motors that generate max 73.75bhp power and max 170 Nm torque. Automatic transmission is also available in the car.
3. Battery:- Tata Tigor EV runs on the Ziptron EV technology. It comes with the 26kWh Lithium-ion battery. The new model of Tata Motors delivers an improved driving range of 315kms
4. Charging:- The 26kWh battery can be recharged from 0 to 80 per cent in 8.5 hours by using a 25kW DC charger.
5. Interior :- Looking at the interior, Tigor EV comes with a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, four speakers, multi-mode regenerative braking, cruise control, auto AC, height-adjustable driver seat and electrically foldable ORVMs. It also gets leatherette upholstery, auto-headlights and connected car tech.
6. Exterior:- Looking to the exterior , It has adjustable headlights, fog Lights at the front, rain sensing wiper and outside rear view mirror turn indicators.
7. Seating Capacity and Dimension:- The Tigor EV has seating capacity for 5 passengers. Tigor EV is 3993 mm in length, 1677 mm in width, 1532 mm in height and it has a wheelbase of 2450 mm. Tata Tigor EV has 316 litres of boot space and 172 mm ground clearance.
9. Safety features :- Tata Tigor EV has been upgraded with many safety features. It comes with ABS (Anti-lock braking system) and EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), tyre puncture repair kit as well as dual front airbags.
