Tata Motors marked their presence at the auto expo 2023 with launching the brand new wide range Tata Harrier EV in the Indian Auto Market. Tata motors has more than 85% market share in the electric passenger EV segment in India. Tata is also focused on its electric line- up with the new launch of EVs. The new Tata Harrier has borrowed some of the features from Nexon EV. This EV is based on the ICE (Internal combustion engine) model. The exterior and the interior of this EV comes with revamped design and style. 1.Price:- The price is not revealed by the carmaker but it will be available at the expected price of Rs 30 lakh.

2. Engine:- It has a dual-motor all-wheel drive setup. The Harrier EV gets charge from vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V). The Harrier EV is expected to have a battery capacity of about 60 kWh offers 400 km mileage.

3. Dimension:- Tata Harrier EV comes in the following dimension :- 4598mm in length, 1894mm in width, 1706mm in height and 2741 mm wheelbase

4.Aditional features:- At Auto Expo 2023, Tata Motors confirmed that the Harrier EV is based on the Gen2 architecture. It will also feature an AWD configuration which means there will be a two-motor setup.

5. Interior:- Harrier EV has a more modern infotainment system compared to standard Harrier. This EV offers a digital driver’s display, panoramic sunroof, connectivity, and probably ADAS.

6. Exterior:- The exterior of this EV took inspiration from Curvv Concept.It is featured with a modern grille taking headlamp and characteristic LED tail lamps that has a modern lighting signature.

7.Other features:- It comes with a seating capacity for 5 passengers, 425 litres boot space and 250 mm ground clearance. For passenger safety, it has six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability program (ESP) and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

8. Competitors:- Tata Harrier EV has the main competition with BYD Auto E6 Electric, BYD Auto Atto 3 and MG ZS EV in the Indian Auto market.
