Shark Tank India, The Indian adaptation of the American reality show Shark Tank, is getting popular day by day. After getting a mixed reaction in the few initial weeks, the TRP of the show is going otherworldly. The reality show works on the basic idea of Indian entrepreneurs coming on the stage and trying to convince the judges to buy their shares. The reason why the show became such a big hit is the judges of the show, who are doing something which the Indian audience never witnessed. Giving you a close view of the life of the judges, here we bring you the educational qualification of the Shark Tank’ Judges and how they started their careers.

1. Ashneer Grover: The MD and the co-founder of Bharat Pe, Ashneer Grover started his career journey at Kotak Investment Banking as the vice-president after completing his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and B.Tech degree in civil engineering from IIT Delhi.

2. Anupam Mittal: Anupam Mittal the CEO and Founder of People Group, which has renowned companies like Shadi.com under their name. Anupam started his career as a product manager at a business strategy software from titled MicroStrategy. The Co-founder of Shaadi.com holds an MBA degree in Operations and Strategic Management from Boston College, USA.

3. Peyush Bansal: Peyush Bansal, who is today the CEO and founder of Lenskart, got his first job in 2017 as a Program Manager at Microsoft Corporation. He did his initial schooling at Don Bosco School and graduated from McGill University, Canada. And then came to India pursued a degree in Entrepreneurship from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

4. Vineeta Singh: Vineeta Singh, the co-founder of Sugar cosmetics, started his career with an unsuccessful HR services startup, after rejecting an offer of 1 Crore per annum from a global investment bank. She has a B.tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Madras as well as a postgraduate degree from IIM Ahmedabad.

5. Namita Thapar: Namita Thapar started his career with a US-based company named Guidant Corporation and then flew back to India to work as a chief financial officer at Emcure. Today she is the Executive Director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd and holds a chartered accountant degree from ICAI. She also holds an MBA degree from Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

6. Ghazal Alagh: Ghazal Alagh is the co-founder of the Indian skincare brand, MamaEarth. She started her career as a Corporate Trainer NIIT Limited from 2008-2010. Ghazal Alagh has a Bachelors in Information Technology. Apart from that, she also pursued Intensive Courses in Modern Art, Design and Applied Arts from New York Academy of Arts.

7. Aman Gupta: Aman Gupta is the co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of the Indian company boAt, which manufactures audio products. Gupta started his career with CitiBank. he cleared the CA entrance exam and attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. However, after realising that he wants to become an entrepreneur, he pursued an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Indian School of Business as well.
