Appreciation and applause have been pouring on RRR from every corner for every right reason. The movie was declared a blockbuster on the very first day of its release. From plotline to VFX every aspect of the movie is a notch higher than the curve. The pan-Indian release, RRR has emerged to be a perfect mass entertainer showcasing great box-office results. But while most of the celebs are celebrating the movie, there are many actors who are regretting it. As they got a chance to be a part of this blockbuster but they rejected it for a personal reason. Here we bring you the top 6 actors who rejected the offer to play the lead in S.S. Rajamouli’s RRR:
1. Shraddha Kapoor: During the pre-production stage of the movie, an Anglo-Indian character emerged in the movie and for that role, Shraddha was approached by the role. But the actress rejected it as at that time she was busy with her upcoming projects.
2. Parineeti Chopra: Seetha may have a short screen-time and role in the story she added a new fragrance to the movie by being the fiancé of Charam’s character. But before Alia Bhatt, Parineeti Chopra was approached to play the role but she turned it down as at that time she was shooting for Kesari.
3. Isabelle Kaif: Morris robbed the audience’s heart with her performance as the love interest of Jr. NTR’s character. But she was not the first choice for the role. When the movie was in the early process, Isabelle Kaif was approached to play the role. But the sister of Katrina Kaif turned it down because "she wanted the script and details of the movie."
4. Amy Jackson: The reason behind Amy Jackson's refusal is indeed different from the ones listed above. The actor was approached to star opposite Jr. NTR in the pan-Indian release after Edgar-Jones failed to complete the film. However, Jackson had to pull out owing to her pregnancy.
5. Daisy Edgar-Jones: Not only Kaif, but the role of the warm-hearted Jennifer also went to British actor Daisy Edgar-Jones (Normal People) for a while. In fact, Edgar-Jones had begun filming for the magnificent production in 2019, before she had to cut ties with the project. Media reports say she gave some personal reasons for leaving.
6. Prabhas: Prabhas was considered to play a crucial role in the movie. But this time not the actor but the director dropped him. As Rajamouli though he is not made for the role.
