Bengaluru-based electric vehicle start-up River has launched its first electric scooter- Indie in India in February 2023. According to the company, the new River Indie e-scooter is a SUV of e-scooters. With the launch of this e-scooter, the start-up company River wants to set a neck to neck competition for the other two- wheeler manufacturing companies especially in the electric two wheelers industry. The new e-scooter Indie comes with a new distinct design and offers many unique features such as large storage, three riding modes called Eco, Ride and Rush. wide mileage, safety elements and best battery capacity. 1. Battery:- Indie e-scooter is powered by a 4kWh lithium-ion battery that generates a maximum power of 6.7 kW.
2. Charging TIme:- The battery of Indie can take 5 hours for upto 80 percent charge by using a standard charger.
3. Top Speed:- The electric scooter has a top speed of 90 kmph. The EV can be accelerated to 0-40 kmph in 4 seconds.
5. Design:- The new e-scooter highlights a 6-inch TFT colour LCD display, a twin beam front LED headlights, comfortable seats, handlebar and a tail lamp.
6. Colour:- The indie offers a three different cool and classy colours : Summer Red, Monsoon Blue and Spring Yellow.
