The election season is here with five states set to go to assembly polls. One of them is the southern Indian state of Goa where polls will be held on 14th February. The state election seems to be a promising contest with multilateral fights between BJP, Congress, AAP, NCP, TMC etc. The state is currently being governed by the BJP-led coalition and the saffron party will be looking to bank on the Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to achieve the desired arithmetic. CM Sawant has been termed by media as a no-nonsense administrator and has emerged as a major player in Goa politics since taking over the reins of the government in 2019. However, beyond all the election news bytes and political buzz, politicians have a personal life as well and Pramod Sawant is no different.
