Ola Electric is preparing to introduce its first electric scooter in Indian markets on the 75th anniversary of India's independence that will be celebrated on August 15, 2021. Pre-orders for this forthcoming electric two-wheeler have already begun on the company's official website. Ola announced the availability of bookings for a token amount of ₹499 on its official website. The Ola Electric scooter is expected to cost between 1.2 lakh and 1.4 lakh rupees. The co-founder of the business has already hinted at the impending two-wheeler in a number of tweets over the last few days. 1.Ola Electric is anticipated to debut the two-wheeler in three versions based on client performance needs. The base model will feature a 2kW motor with a peak speed of 45kmph, while the mid variation will have a 4kW motor with a top speed of 70kmph.

2.The top variant of Ola Electric, on the other hand, is expected to be driven by a 7kW motor capable of reaching a peak speed of 95kmph. Smartphone connectivity will also be offered by Ola for its customers in their scooters to monitor the status of charging in real time using an Ola Electric app.

3. Ola Electric scooters will be the company's first two-wheeler passenger car product. The Ola Futurefactory, which is now under construction in Tamil Nadu, will be the world's largest facility producing e-scooters. Ola Electric will manufacture its future electric scooters here.

6. Ola Electric will sell its electric scooter in ten distinct and eye-catching colours. The precise names of the colours will be revealed during the upcoming presentation on August 15. CEO Aggarwal described the ten versions as "a revolution in ten colours" in a tweet.

7. For its forthcoming Ola Scooter, Ola Electric has introduced the Ola 'Hypercharger Network.' The firm stated that it will provide its electric car clients with "the most complete" set of charging choices via a mix of widely distributed high-speed Ola Hyperchargers and the home charger.

8. Ola Electric is supposed to have one of the most spacious boot areas among electric motorcycles. The company stated in a teaser graphic that the bike has enough boot room to properly store two helmets without a space issue.

9.The scooter will be capable of charging in from 0 to 50% in just 18 minutes. It will take around 2 hours 30 minutes for the scooter to get completely charged. In the first year, Ola will install over 5,000 recharge stations in 100 cities across India.
