CEO of Tesla Motors and world’s richest man Elon Musk is in the news again, this time not for new inventions in electric technology or space exploration programs, but for his new love interest, Natasha Bassett. Here’s what we know so far about her:
Natasha Bassett is a 27-year-old Australian actress who hails from Sydney in Australia. She is also a screenwriter and director. She began acting in high school. At the age of 14, she landed the lead role in the “Australian Theatre for Young People” production of “Romeo and Juliet”. She studied at the National Institute of Dramatic Art. In 2014, she wrote and directed a short film titled “Kite” which was accepted into the Rhode Island International Film Festival. She also played Britney Spears in the Lifetime biopic “Britney Ever After”.
In New York, she studied at the Atlantic Acting School and shifted to Los Angeles for a role in the NBC series “Camp”. She also played a supporting role of “Gloria DeLamour '' in the 2016 Hollywood comedy film “Hail, Caesar!”. Her passion includes hiking and advocating on animal rights and climate change.
Elon Musk has been reportedly seeing Miss Bassett for two months and are said to be in a relationship. Musk was in a relationship with Canadian musician Grimes with whom he has a son who was born in May 2020. In December 2021, Elon Musk said that he was single. Musk has been married twice. His first marriage was with Canadian author Justine Wilson in 2000. They have five sons. The couple separated in 2008. His second wife was English actress Taluah Riley with whom he married in 2010 and divorced in 2012. They remarried in 2013 but finally separated for good in 2016.
