British automobile maker, MG Motor India, has introduced its cheapest electric vehicle, the Comet EV, in the Indian car market. Based on the electric GSEV platform, the Comet EV offers a spacious and versatile ride with multiple safety features. The automaker has designed this hatchback based on the concept of BICO, which stands for "Big Inside, Compact Outside," offering a spacious and comfortable interior with enhanced legroom and headroom. The Comet EV is the second electric vehicle in MG Motor India's portfolio and features futuristic and user-friendly smart technologies, along with a comfortable and roomy cabin. 1. Battery: The new MG Comet EV hatchback is powered by a 17.3 kWh prismatic cell battery that ensures the hatchback can travel a long distance. The battery is IP67-rated, making it highly resistant to water and dust. The EV is paired with an automatic transmission.

2. Charging time and mileage: The battery of this electric vehicle takes 7 hours to charge with a standard charger. The Comet EV offers 230 km of mileage on a single charge.
