Gujarat based EV start-up Matter has finally unveiled a new electric motorcycle named as Aera in the Indian EV market. The best thing about the Aera e-motorcycle is that it is the first ever geared battery powered electric two-wheeler in India with 4 speed manual transmission. The Matter Aera is offered in two variants: Aera 5000 and Aera 5000 Plus. The Matter Aera had grabbed attention at Auto Expo 2023. According to the company, the booking will start in the last month of March. The Matter Aera has a remote lock and unlock keyless entry system. The new Aera comes with authentic features like an effective battery, better mileage, sporty design and many more. Here are the top 8 features of Matter Aera:-
1. Engine and Performance:- The Matter Aera has a 10.5 kW motor that's powered by a 5 kWh lithium-ion battery that paired with 4 speed manual transmission. The battery takes 2 hours to fully charge with 3 pin 5 amp socket chargeability.
2. Mileage:- The e-motorcycle gives a mileage of 125 km/charge. It can accelerate 0 to 60 kmph in 4 second.
3. Driving Modes:- The Aera e-motorcycle has three driving mode Sports, ECO and City that make every ride memorable.
4. Design:- The Aera e-motorcycle has a futuristic and muscular design. It features headlamps, tail lamps, rear and front indicators.
5. Display:- It has a 7-Inch touchscreen instrument cluster that supports 4G and Internet connectivity, Monitor Riding Stats for the bike performance reports, over the air updates, push-button start and call or media controls. It runs an Android based operating system.
6. Safety:- The Aera has checked all the safety marks with front and rear disc brakes with dual channel ABS and forward and reverse park assist.
