Maruti Suzuki has unveiled its new EVX SUV concept SUV at Auto Expo 2023 in Greater Noida. EVX SUV concept refers to the born electric SUV. The company plans to invest $100 billion dollars to produce BEVs. It is claimed by the company that the eVX SUV is based on a dedicated EV architecture and powered by the 60kWH battery that boasts a range in excess of 500 Km. 1. Battery:- This SUV is powered by a 60 kWh battery that offers the top driving range of 550 km in a single charge. This SUV is expected to have a global debut by 2025 with prices around Rs 20- Rs 25 lakh.
2. Entry-level version:- EVX SUV has an entry-level version as well that will come with a smaller battery of around 48kWh that covers 400km range in a single charge.
3. Dimension:- This SUV is 4,300mm long, 1,800mm wide, 1,600mm tall with 2,700mm wheelbase making it the same size as most compact SUVs currently on sale in India.
4. Design:- This SUV follows Suzuki's signature eye-catching futuristic design with aerodynamic silhouette, shorter overhangs and optimum ground clearance.
5. Interior :- The company did not reveal more about the interior. The company said that the eVX offers high seating and revolutionary cabin space. The Maruti SUV EV Concept is expected to come equipped with features like a , numerous digital screens, a Heads-Up Display, a 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof and sustainable interior upholstery
6. Exterior:- The Maruti eVX concept has a flat nose and a tall bonnet that's a squarish looks, the V-shaped headlamps get unique LED daytime running lamp signatures and grille. The front bumper gives off a muscular vibe with its bulky design and the prominent skid plate.
7. Alloy Wheels:- The alloy wheels resemble Tesla’s aero-style wheel design and the low-profile tyres on the concept SUV will most likely make way for more conventional ones in the production car.
8. Competitors:- The main competitors of Maruti Suzuki's EVX SUV are Tata Nexon EV and the Mahindra XUV400.
