Mahindra has launched a new Mahindra Scorpio Classic in India. The new Mahindra Scorpio Classic will be available in two variants, Classic S and Classic S 11. The latest big daddy will be sold alongside the all-new Scorpio N which was launched recently. Mahindra claims that the new engine is 55 kgs lighter and 14 percent more fuel efficient than the previous generation model. The price of the car will be announced on August 20. The new Mahindra Scorpio Classic gets design and mechanical updates while featuring Mahindra’s new twin-peaks logo. Here are the main features and specifications of the Mahindra Scorpio Classic:

1. The price of the car is expected to be 11.00 - 16.00 Lakh, however, it will be announced on August 20.

2. The fuel type of the SUV will be both Diesel and Petrol. The Diesel engine is 1998 cc while the Petrol engine is 1998 cc.

4. The Scorpio Classic is powered by the second-gen mHawk engine that makes 130 bhp and 300 Nm of torque.

5. The big daddy is available in 5 colour options Red Rage, Napoli Back, Dsat Silver, Pearl White, and a newly introduced Galaxy Grey.

6. The length, width, and height of the Scorpio N are 4,456 mm X 1,820 mm X 1,995 mm (length X width X height).

7. The main competitor of Mahindra Scorpio N is Tata Harrier, Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector and Tata Safari.

8. Taking about the interior, it is a 6 and 7-seat SUV that looks quite simple and straightforward with comfortable seats, a wide sunroof, LED headlamps, and dynamic-swipe turn indicators.

10. Scorpio Classic gets LED headlights, LED DRLs and fog lamps, and 17-inch alloy wheels amongst others. Inside, the new Mahindra Scorpio Classic gets a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with phone mirroring and smartphone connectivity, a two-tone beige-and-black interior, and wood inserts on the dash, and quilted upholstery
