Mahindra has officially launched new Thar 2WD SUV in the Indian car market. The starting price of this SUV is Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This new entry level SUV is available in three variants. The base model is available at Rs. 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom) whereas the top model of this SUV comes at Rs. 13.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Thar 2 WD offers Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) variants with two engine options. This SUV is powered by mStallion 150 TGDi engine, 1.5-litre diesel engine. 1. Price:- Thar 2 WD comes in three variants. The base model 2WD AX (O) (Rs 9.99 lakhs ex-showroom), Thar 2WD LX (Rs 10.99 lakh ex-showroom) and the top model Thar 2WD LX ( Rs 13.49 lakh ex-showroom).
2. Engine:- Mahindra Thar 2WD is powered by a 1997cc diesel engine that produces a maximum power of 118PS at 3500rpm and a maximum torque of 300Nm at 2500rpm. This SUV offers 14 kmpl mileage.
3. Dimension:- This SUV comes in the following dimensions: 3985 mm in length, 1820 mm in width and 1920 mm in height and a wheelbase of 2450 mm.
4. Interior:- This SUV is equipped with stylish seats, reclining rear seats, and roof-mounted speakers. It also offers a digital touchscreen and Tyretronics.
5. Exterior:- This SUV features front and rear bumpers, sweptback halogen headlamps, a new single-piece grille, black steel wheels with silver wheel covers, squared tail lights, an integrated spoiler, a high-mounted stop lamp, and fender-mounted turn indicators.
6. Infotainment:- The new Thar 2WD has 7.0-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, electrically adjustable outside rear-view mirrors, cruise control and LED daytime running lamps (DRLs) and USB charging ports.
7. Colour:- The new Thar SUVs will be offered in three new colours. These include Everest White, Blazing Bronze and Aquamarine.
