Top SUVs manufacturers Mahindra and Mahindra showcased its two new e- SUVs models at the Mahindra EV Fashion Festival on February 10. These two new e- SUVs are XUV.e9 and the BE 05. After the big success of Scorpio-N, XUV700, upgraded Thar, and updated Bolero, Mahindra is focussinh on manufacturing all electric SUVs and these XUV.e series and the BE series will play the key roles. Both of the SUVs are in the form of concept, as of now, and will hit the roads in future. The two new SUVs have decent interior and exterior designs with advanced technology systems. Here are the top 8 features of the Mahindra' s new e-SUVs concept.
1. Battery :- These new concept is based on Mahindra’s INGLO platform which is especially designed for the EV battery that will support 60 to 80kWh with 175 kWh DC fast charging that allows 0 to 80 percent battery charge in less than 30 minutes.The bigger battery pack will have a range of 450 km (WLTP).
2. Production:- The production for the XUV e9 and Mahindra BE will start from April 2024 and October 2024 respectively.
3. Exterior:- Both the concepts are complemented with bold and classic design. It is featured with LED DRLs and LED headlamp. There is no grille at the front side of SUV but a stroke of plastic cladding on wheels can be seen at the side profile.
4. Interior:- BE.05 e- suv also has a different interior design. The cockpit is decorated with a matt gold finish with grey textured fabric. It has a BE logo at the centre of steering.
5. Infotainment:- The configurations are not too much revealed by the company but it is expected that both the EVs will come with a large cabin space. It will offer a big display screen with many connectivity options, speedometer, panoramic screen and a dashboard.
6. Dimension of XUV e9:- XUV e9 comes in the following dimension of 1,905 mm wide,1,690 mm tall, and a length of 4,790 mm. It has a 2,775 mm wheelbase.
7. Dimension of XUV BE.05 EV:- The dimensions of the XUV BE.05 comes 4,370 mm long, 1,900 mm in width, and 1,635 mm in height.
8. Competitors:- The competitors of XUV e9 are Nexon EV, Isuzu MU-X, Jeep Meridian and BYD Atto 3 in the Indian auto market.
