Every year, the fans of the show stay on their toes to witness their favorite Bollywood celebrities show on the talk show and deliver deets about their personal lives. While many Bollywood celebrities are looking forward to featuring on the show this year, there are several Bollywood celebrities ho have refused to feature on the show this year. 1. Katrina Kaif: A few days back, Karan announced his new episode with Vicky Kaushal and Sidharth Malhotra. But fans were damned to see that Vicky is coming with Sidharth, not his wife Katrina Kaif. Responding to the reaction Karan revealed that Katrina has refused to come on the show as she doesn’t want to talk about his marital life on the show.
2. Ranbir Kapoor: Soon-to-be father Ranbir Kapoor directly turned down KJo’s offer to feature on the show as he believed that Karan always traps celebrities in controversy and right now he doesn’t want any controversy around his name. However, his wife Alia Bhatt became the first guest on the show this year. She came on the show with her Sakhi Ranveer Singh.
3. Anushka Sharma: Anushka has been Karan’s regular guest ever since she made her Bollywood debut. But this year, when Karan offered her to feature on the show, she refused to be a part of the show. Reason? It's said that she didn't want to talk about her relationship with Virat Kohli on national television.
4. Shah Rukh Khan: Calling Karan Johar and Shah Rukh Khan BFF wouldn’t be wrong. But this time Karan’s BFF is now going to come to his show because of his reason. This will be the first season when Karan’s show will air without SRK in it.
5. Aamir Khan: We saw a completely new avatar of Aamir Khan when he graced the couch of Koffee With Karan, with his wife Kiran Rao. But sadly we are not going to see that avatar this year cause Aamir Khan has refused to show up on the show this year.
6. Salman Khan: Despite being spoken about from the first season, Salman Khan finally appeared on the show in season 4, and what an episode that was. Salman handled Karan’s volley of questions in his characteristic ‘laid back attitude and won our hearts. Remember, the ‘I am still a virgin’ comment? The episode was also memorable because Salman’s father Salim Khan came in the later segment to reveal several details about the actor’s life.
7. Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna: Akshay's wife Twinkle Khanna and Karan Johar are childhood buddies. Needless to say, Twinkle and Akshay were on the host’s priority list. However, the duo kept refusing to be a part of the show for the longest time. After a lot of coaxing, Akshay did finally come on the show in season 4. During the chat, he justified his refusal to come on the show by saying, "Every time someone comes on your show Karan, the next few days there are just calling up other people and clarifying that they didn't mean to say what they said on the show.
