After a three-year gap, Auto expo 2023 was held this year. At this event, electric vehicles (EVs) grabbed much attention from the visitors. One of the biggest and strongest South Korean automobile companies Kia also showcased its new EV9 concept at the event. The company will go to production of the EV9 concept at the end of 2023. 2. Battery:- The EV9 packs a large 77.4 kWh battery. The battery can fully charge in 20 mins with 350kW charging rate.
3. Motors :- The production version of the EV9 concept is expected to come with a dual-motor, four-wheel-drive range-topper, as well as an entry-level variant has a single motor powering the rear axle.
4. E-GMP architecture:- The EV9 SUV is based on the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) architecture, the same one that underpins the Kia EV6 sold in India.

The exterior of EV9 has featured LED light modules, a Z-shaped headlamp cluster, brand’s signature ‘tiger nose’ grille, a large glasshouse with a sharp kink, vertical LED tail-lamps, rear-hinged doors.
