The love story of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck share, one of the IT couples in the Hollywood industry, goes from heartbreak to "real love," as described by Jennifer Lopez herself. In a recent interview with Apple Music 1, Jennifer reflected on her rekindled romance with Ben and recalled the pain she felt after they ended their first engagement. Jennifer, an actress, singer, and dancer married Ben, an actor, and filmmaker on July 16, 2022. Their love story covers a roller-coaster journey that started 20 years ago. Before they finally got married, after their second engagement, they had ended their first engagement back in 2004, which led to JLo being devastated. Here we bring to you the amazing story of JLo and Ben who are now a wedded couple:

Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez met Ben Affleck on the set of Gigli, their first movie together. At that time JLo was already married to her second husband Chris Judd.

Eventually, Jennifer and Ben came close and Jennifer divorced Chris. Soon the "Marry Me" singer and the "Deep Water" actor made their relationship public.

In November 2002, Ben proposed to his love, Jennifer with a custom-made Harry Winston Pink-diamond solitaire ring and Jennifer said yes to him without thinking twice.

The couple gradually became one of the most adored couples in the Hollywood industry and one of the first to receive a hybrid couple name: "Bennifer." However, this didn't last long, following a wave of rumors that claimed Ben secretly visited a Vancouver strip club.

These rumors eventually affected the relationship that made them delay their wedding just a day before the grand ceremony. Not just the couple delayed the wedding but in 2004 they announced that they are breaking their engagement.

Recalling her breakup with Ben in an interview with Apple Music 1, Jlo said, "It was so painful after we broke up. Once we called off that wedding 20 years ago, it was the biggest heartbreak of my life. I honestly felt like I was going to die."

Jlo got married to Marc Anthony from 2004 to 2014, and they became parents to twins Max and Emme. Meanwhile, Ben Affleck was married to Jennifer Garner from 2005 to 2018, and they have three kids together, daughters Violet and Seraphina, and son Samuel.

In an interview with PEOPLE in 2016, Lopez said that despite their split, there was "genuine love" between herself and Affleck.

But as they say, true love never fails, the couple came close again in 2021. At the Venice Film Festival in September, the pair made their first red carpet-appearance since their break-up 20 years before. Soon the couple announced their engagement and on July 16, the couple officially “married in a Las Vegas-style wedding”.
