The lesson that a man has to protect his woman at any cost is has been taught to us since we got our consciousness. But we saw it in real life when Will Smith bet his whole career just to save her woman, Jada Pinkett Smith. On the night of the 94th Oscars, we saw Smith slapping Chris Rocks for mocking his wife. This was not the first time when Will and Jada proved that they believe in setting true blue couple goal. As one of Hollywood’s most iconic power couples, the Smiths have celebrated multiple awards wins, raised three kids, and jumped out of a plane together.

The couple first met on the set of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air where Jada had come to audition for the role of Smith’s Girlfriend.

But the actress was rejected for the role as she was too short for it. Even though, Jada lost the role she won Smith in real-life.

When Smith was getting close to Pinkett, he was already married to his ex-wife Sheree Zampino. It was reported that Smith was dating Pinkett before his divorce while he was separated from his former wife.

Smith and Pinkett dated each other for quite a time and decided to get married. Will Smith and Jada Pinkett got married in 1997 on the day of New Year’s Eve in a private ceremony at the Cloisters Mansion while the latter was pregnant with their son Jaden.

While there were reports speculating an open marriage and divorce, the couple emerged stronger smashing such rumours. Smith clarified the 2015 divorce rumours saying, “So, in the interest of redundant, repetitious, over and over-again-ness… Jada and I are… NOT GETTING A DIVORCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
