One of those fairy-tales is the love story of Bollywood king, Shahrukh Khan and his lady love Gauri Khan. It's been close to three decades since Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan tied the knot. And yet, after all these years, the couple continues to be one of India's most discussed and admired Bollywood couples. From teenage lovers to Bollywood power couple, the love story of Shahrukh khan and Gauri Khan is just awesome. Here's a look back at some of Shahrukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s biggest milestones together.

Many of you don’t know that Shahrukh gave his heart to Gauri when he was 18 years old. The Delhi teen first met his soulmate Gauri at a party in 1984 and fell in love with her.

It is believed that the couple's first date was at Delhi's Panchshila Club. After few dates, Gauri gave Shahrukh her number and he started calling her at home pretending to be a friend named Shaheen.

This teenage love was going smoothly but the couple never knew that settling down together wasn't that easy. During this time, the couple had to face many fights and one such altercation made Gauri fly to Mumbai without even letting Shahrukh know.

With just Rs 10,000 in his pocket, Shah Rukh followed Gauri to the city that would eventually become his home and made up with her at Mumbai's Gorai beach.

After a long hustle, Shahrukh managed to impress Gauri’s father, and the couple finally got married on October 25, 1991. Shah Rukh Khan had to reportedly borrow a suit from the costume department of his movie Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman for his wedding.

Once in a media interview, Shahrukh made a hilarious confession about his honeymoon. He revealed that he had promised Gauri that after they get married, he will take her to Paris to show her Eiffel Tower. But neither he had the money nor he had the air tickets but somehow he convinced her.
