Lizz Truss was declared the new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom on Monday. Lizz, who was UK foreign minister when Boris Johnson resigned, won Tory leadership with a margin of 21,000 votes against her Indian-origin competitor Rishi Sunak. Truss received 81,326 votes from the Tory members and Sunak got 60,399 votes. Lizz will take oath as the UK's PM on Tuesday. She is the third female Prime Minister of the UK, after Margaret Thatcher and Theresa May. As they say, behind every successful man there is a woman, similarly, behind every successful woman, there is a man who supports his lady constantly without paying much attention to what the society says. She opened up about her date with Hugh in a 2019 interview for 'You' magazine, and said: ‘I invited him ice-skating and he sprained his ankle.’
Their relationship hit a rocky patch in 2006 after Lizz's affair with the then-married Tory MP Mark Field came out in public.
