A typical 90's love story, where a boy fell in love at first sight for a girl, is how we can describe the love story of Jyotiraditya Madhavrao Scindia, and Priyadarshini Raje Scindia. If you haven't seen what 'love at first sight' in reality looks like, you need to pay attention to this royal couple- Jyotiraditya and Priyadarshini Raje Scindia. Although it was an arranged marriage for the Scindia couple, it was 'love at first sight' for Jyotiraditya Scindia. Like every successful man has a woman wholeheartedly supporting his rise and getting through the thick and thin of life, Jyotiraditya Scindia was also blessed to have an incredible woman by his side- Priyadarshini Scindia. The couple's love story is trule heartwarming. Let's take a look at how the royal couple met and got struck by the cupid's arrow:

It was 1991, when the incumbent Minister of Civil Aviation, Jyotiraditya Scindia first met his ladylove Priyadarshani Raje in Mumbai.

Jyotiraditya Scindia, son of late Indian politician, Madhavrao Scindia was studying in US and Priyadarshni Raje, daughter of Kumar Sangramsinh Gaekwad of Baroda State, was based in Mumbai, when they first met.

"I knew from day one that Priyadarshini was the one for me," Scindia said as quoted by Timesnownews.com.

Jyotiraditya Scindia is the grandson of Jivajirao Scindia, the last Maharaja of the princely state of Gwalior. Priyadarshni is the granddaughter of Pratap Singh Rao Gaekwad, the last maharaja of Baroda State.

The Scindia couple who first met in December 1991, got married in December 1994. The couple married young, when Scindia was nearly 23-24 and his wife was just 19-20.

Scindia was/is head over heels for Priyadarshni. Once he opened up about his marriage in an interview to 'The Times of India'. He said, Baba describes best (in an e-mail message) what Priyadarshini means to me. He wrote to her saying that she was the bulwark of his son. In terms of emotional strength, the foundation of our home, the interests of our children, Priyadarshini means everything to me. However, politics is not for her, she is keen on writing and will pen a novel someday,"
