Arvind Kejriwal, 7th chief minister of Delhi first met his ladylove Sunita Kejriwal at the National Academy of Administration in Nagpur where they were undergoing training after being selected for IRS (Indian Revenue Service).
Both Arvind and Sunita had qualified for the Indian Revenue Service in the same year, the 1993 batch.
Arvind claims to be straightforward person who is committed to serving the nation. It was perhaps his ideals that impressed Sunita. Sunita always wanted to marry a man like Arvind.
However, Arvind and Sunita took time to express their feelings for each other while their eyes were saying it all, already.
Although Arvind hailed from Haryana while Sunita's family belonged to Delhi, both belonged to the same caste, and were undergoing training for the same service, there was no opposition to this relationship from their family.
The couple finally got engaged in August 1994 and after two months of intense courtship, Arvind Kejriwal and Sunita Kejriwal tied the Knot in November 1994.
When the couple married, they were still undergoing training for the IRS. In 1995, when they completed their training, the couple moved to Delhi.
In 1996, the couple was blessed with a daughter Harshita Kejriwal, and in 2001 their son Pulkit Kejriwal was born.
The love Arvind has for his wife Sunita was evident when after his electoral victory in elections, Arvind thanked Sunita for being by his side throughout.
