Kshama Bindu sets the first sologamy example in India by tying knot to herself on Wednesday. The 24 year old Kshama had planned to marry on June 11 but she postponed her wedding and tied the knot on June 8. Kshama Bindu, a blogger and digital creator soon became a sensation when she announced to marry herself. While a large section of netizens trolled her, some came in her support as well. Kshama earlier had planned to marry in a temple but later changed the venue and married at her home in Vadodara's Gotri area. Kshama followed all the rituals in her wedding, like Haldi and Mehandi. Happily married newly wed woman also danced on the beats of 'London Thumakda' on her special day. Here we bring to you a few pictures of India's first sologamy wedding.
With the onset of Pride month, Kshama Bindu said she feels she will set the example of self-love in India.
Kshama's marriage was one of its kind and missed two crucial elements of a marriage- a groom and a priest.
Kshama also cited an advantage of sologamy that unlike other brides, now she won't have to leave her home post wedding.
