Spinner Yuzvendra Chahal on Tuesday tied the knot with choreographer Dhanashree Verma. Chahal shared the photo from his wedding on Twitter, captioning the post as: We started at “Once Upon A Time” and found “Our Happily Ever After,” coz’ finally, #DhanaSaidYuz for infinity and beyond.”
In the picture, Chahal looks extremely happy as he is smiling, while Dhanashree looks at him with love. They seem to be totally in love. While Chahal seems to be dressed in a sherwani, Dhanashree dons a stunning red-saree.
Chahal got engaged to Dhanashree in August this year. In the same month, he left for the UAE for the IPL 2020.Dhanashree then travelled to the UAE in the middle of the tournament where they both spent some quality time.
India cricketer Hardik Pandya was among the first to congratulate Chahal and wishing him all the luck for his new journey by quoting "kya baat hai, Badahi ho".
According to Verma, their relationship “started off as a student-teacher relationship in April” after Chahal had seen her dance videos on YouTube".
“During the lockdown, Yuzi decided to learn a few new things, including dance. So, he got in touch with me and we started our classes. Slowly we became friends and sort of felt a connect,” Verma said.
