Held at the Yas Island in Abu Dhabi on Saturday, International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards brought back the charm of the Bollywood industry. After missing the in-person meet, the award show finally witnessed the starry gathering of some of the widely celebrated actors of the Bollywood industry. While the night witnessed some of the most ravishing fashion looks of the Bollywood celebrities, it also awarded the celebrities for their groundbreaking work last year. 1. Best Picture – Shershaah: The award for the Best Picture is bagged by Shershaah. Starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani is the cinematic portrayal of the life story of Captain Vikram Batra and also looks at his romantic story. Not just nationally but the movie collected applauds on the international stage too.

2. Best Actor In A Leading Role - Vicky Kaushal (Sardar Udham): There is not a single soul, who didn’t shed tears after watching Sardar Udham. And credit for making this movie such an emotional masterpiece goes to Vicky Kaushal who played the role of Sardar Udham Singh in the movie. The actor got his prize for his actions after he collected the awards for Best Actor In A Leading Role at IIFA.

3. Best Actress In A Leading Role - Kriti Sanon (Mimi): It is very rare to find a cult classic that makes you laugh the whole time and gives you an emotional ride at the end. And Mimi is one of those rare masterpieces. For making this classic a masterpiece, Bollywood actress Kirti Sanon gave one of her career's best performances.

4. Best Director - Vishnu Varadhan (Shershaah): Bollywood ace actor Vishnu Varadhan clinched the award for Best Director for his work in Shershaah. There is no denying the apt work of Vishnu added a new life to the movie.

5. Best Actor In A Supporting Role - Pankaj Tripathi (Ludo): Pankaj Tripathi is truly the magician of his art and his art was recognized by IIFA when they awarded him with the award for best actor in a supporting role for his performance in Anurag Basu’s Ludo.

6. Best Actress In A Supporting Role - Sai Tamhankar (Mimi): Sai Tamhankar who played the role of Kirti Sanon’s friend in Mimi clinched the award for Best Actress in a supporting role (female) for her performance in the cult classic.

7. Best Debut Male - Ahan Shetty (Tadap): Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan Shetty marked his Bollywood debut with Tadap. The movie failed to earn big at the box office but it helped Ahan Shetty bag his first IIFA awards as Best Debut Male for his performance in Tadap.

8. Best Debut Female - Sharvari Wagh (Bunty Aur Babli 2): Sharvari Wagh made her acting debut with the OTT series the Forgotten Army while she made her Bollywood debut with Bunty Aur Bubli 2. And she hit the jackpot with her very first movie. The actress won the Best Debut female award for Bunty Aur Babli 2.

9. Best Playback Singer Male - Jubin Nautiyal, Raatan Lambiyan, Shershaah: From acting to music, Shershaah is undoubtedly a classic to watch. Talking about the music of the movie, Jubin Nautiyal won the award for Best Playback singer for lending his voice to Shershaah’s song Raatan Lambiyan.
