Jacqueline Fernandez turned 36 on August 10th. Jacqueline, who was born in Sri Lanka and raised in Bahrain, is a popular Bollywood actress. Jacqueline is well known for her million-dollar grin and infectiously cheerful demeanour, in addition to being an enthu-cutlet. Jacqueline has taken the Indian film business by storm with her sense of elegance and charm. Jacqueline is now making her mark among the film industry's reigning A-listers. 1. Jacqueline was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka, to a Sinhalese father and a Malaysian mother. Her family relocated to Bahrain when she was three years old. She earned a bachelor's degree in mass communication in Australia before going to Sri Lanka to model.

2. Jacqueline was crowned Miss Sri Lanka in 2006 and went on to host the television show Lanka Business Report.

3. Jacqueline started her Bollywood career in 2009 with the film ‘Aladin’, in which she co-starred with Riteish Deshmukh. In 2010, she was named Best Debutante at the IIFA and Stardust awards for the role. After Aladin, there was no turning back for the Sri Lankan beauty.

4. Jacqueline's portrayal as Emraan Hashmi in Mahesh Bhatt's blockbuster ‘Murder 2’ drew a lot of attention. Following the success of Murder 2, the actress made news for declining the roles of ‘Raaz 3’ and Kaya in ‘Krrish 3’ alongside Hrithik Roshan.

5. ‘Race 2’, which had an ensemble cast and was released in 2013, was the actress' next major release. It was the second installment of the hit Race series. Jacqueline allegedly refused to employ a body duplicate in the film and did her own stunts.

6. The 2014 film ‘Kick’ in which she co-starred with Salman Khan, proved to be a defining moment in her career. The film was a box office success, grossing Rs. 200 crores in just 11 days, and Jacqueline received widespread acclaim for her work.

9. Last year, Jacqueline Fernandez made her digital debut in Netflix's 'Mrs Serial Killer'. Manoj Bajpayee played the protagonist in the series as well. ' Bachchan Pandey' and 'Ram Setu', both starring Akshay Kumar, and 'Cirkus', starring Ranveer Singh, are among her upcoming projects.
