Ganesh Chaturthi which is also known as Vinayak Chaturthi is being observed across the country from today onwards. The day starts on the fourth day of the Hindu lunisolar calendar month Bhadrapada. Almost after 2 years people are able to celebrate the festival on a large scale. India's financial capital, Mumbai follows a different vibe on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the pandals decked up with beautiful Ganpati idols. This year, Ganesha idols are seen in various avatars, many of them reflecting current social, political and cultural developments. In some places, the idols of Lord Ganesha were seen in the famous Pushpa Raj style, Ganesha idols armed with bow and arrows depicted Ram Charan's role of Alluri Sita Rama Raju in 'RRR' have also been winning hearts this year. Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor extended her wish to her fans and well wishers on the auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi. She wrote, "Ganpati Bappa Moriya(in hindi) My favourite 10 days of the year ❤️❤️❤️."

Madhuri Dixit shared a video and wished her fans Happy Ganesh Chaturthi in Marathi along with an audio of Lord Ganesha bhajan playing in the background.
