South Korean tech giant Samsung launched its much-awaited device the Galaxy Z Flip 3 on 11th August 2021. It starts at a retail price of Rs 84,999 and comes with loaded features. In a peculiar move, it has been designed to fold down and turn into a pocket-size clock-shaped Smartphone. It has a display on the outer side of its body so when folded down, a secondary display comes up which shows all the important details and notifications including time on the outside. Moreover, the glossy finish, sleek design, and easy-to-use ergonomics make this phone an absolute peach to use. The only things remaining to see are the back draws about the foldable screen, as in their previous phones, it got tampered a bit along the edges. Galaxy Z Flip 3 comes with a 6.70-inch touch screen primary display with a resolution of 1080x2640 pixels at a pixel density of 425 pixels per inch (PPI). It also features a 1.90-inch touch screen as its second display, with a resolution of 260x512 pixels.
For the processors, it has a Qualcomm SM8350 Snapdragon 888 5G octa-core processor. It comes with Android 11. For RAM options, it has only one, the 8GB version, however, for the internal storage, customers can choose between 128GB and 256GB.
It has a modest 3,300 mAh battery which is quite a drawback considering the bigger batteries in other flagship phones. There’s also no charger in the box, as part of the company’s shift toward more sustainability and less waste.
For the camera, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 packs a 12-megapixel primary camera with an aperture of f/1.8. The secondary camera on the back is also a 12-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture. For the front, 0-megapixel the camera on the front for selfies with an f/2.4 aperture.
Connectivity options on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 include Wi-Fi 802, GPS, Bluetooth v5.10, NFC, and USB Type-C. Sensors on the phone include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, barometer, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, in-display fingerprint sensor, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 supports face unlock.
