Samsung has been a brand that has delivered its promises consistently over a large share of the market. A name synonymous with reliability, Samsung is yet again planning to enter the budget as well as mid-range smartphone market this year. With its two latest devices, the Galaxy F02s and the Galaxy F12, the Korean giant is set to storm the budget market in India on April 5. The Korean technology behemoth has recognized the importance and value of the Indian budget market and the scope it holds to the reign of being the biggest smartphone company in the world. Rightfully so, Samsung has used this Indian market to gauge its way and establish itself as one of the most dominant tech companies in the world. Samsung knows the device that would make the middle class of the South Asian continent tap their fingertips on a screen. Affordable yet modern, cheap yet sleek, advanced yet meek, Samsung gives it all. With the introduction of the two new devices, Samsung looks to carry forward this same legacy.

Samsung Galaxy F02s, the cheaper one out of the two devices, features a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V Display and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC that is clocked at 1.8GHz. The phone also includes triple rear cameras, marked by a 13-megapixel primary sensor. Further, it is claimed to deliver a full-day usage on a single charge through a 5,000mAh battery.

The device, as the rumours suggest, may come as a rebranded version of the Galaxy M02s that was launched in India in January and was sold at Rs8,999. The upcoming phone also purportedly appeared on Google Play Console and is rumoured to go on sale in the country with the same starting price of Rs. 8,999.

The other Samsung phone, Galaxy F12 comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V Display with a 90Hz refresh rate and carries the quad rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor. The four cameras include a 48-megapixel main lens with additional 5 megapixels secondary camera and two 2 megapixel cameras.

The Galaxy F12 also appears to have a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Moreover, the phone is tipped to have an Exynos 850 SoC and a 6,000mAh battery. It looks sleep and premium and is expected to be in the range of about rs15999.

Both Samsung Galaxy F02s and Galaxy F12 will come with a waterdrop-style display notch. The Galaxy F12 also appears to be a superior model between the two, with a 90Hz display and quad rear cameras. The Galaxy F02s, on the other hand, will have the traditional 60Hz display and triple rear cameras.
